Janie Rothfield and Allan Carr - Violet’s Waltz

12. Violet’s Waltz: Janie made up this tune for her dying grandmother, Violet Bloomgarden Fox. Originally played in standard violin tuning, we changed the key, cross tuned the fiddle (AEAE) which led to it developing a Cajun-esque sound.
