ANYONE BUT YOU is perhaps the most poignant and poetic song on the Twangtown Paramours new album, Double Down on a Bad Thing. Mike wrote it after a heated argument he and MaryBeth had during an impasse in their relationship. It is about taking a step back and finding perspective at a moment of anger and hurt. The haunting production features MaryBeth on lead vocals, Mike on background vocals, guitars, keyboards, and bass, and Shawn Pelton of the Saturday Night Live band on drums.
