The Texettes, Helen Ellis and Terry Bradford, have been sprouting their original rootsy, contemporary songs around Adelaide for 11 years now, usually as a duo or with another soul to expand their live performances.

Their award winning original music is best described as Rootsy Contemporary Country. Terry is the songwriter and plays acoustic guitar. Terry and Helen alternate lead vocals and are renowned for their "intertwining duets".
