Will Anyone Visit My Grave
“Will Anyone Visit My Grave”
Jerry Salley

Vs1)
There’s a small family plot hidden high on a hill
As close to heaven on earth you can get
Where an ‘ol rusty fence that my great grandpa built
Surrounds generations of loved ones at rest

Vs2)
Oh, the view is so grand there once you reach the top
And though it’s not easy to find
My last request is to rest in that spot
On the last mountain I’ll ever climb

Ch)
Will anyone visit my grave (when I’m gone)
Stop by to bring flowers and pray (when I’m Gone)
When the last tear has dried and they’ve all said goodbye
Will anyone visit my grave
Vs3) The one road that leads there washed out years ago You’ll have to walk all the way up and down (there now) So, I can’t help but wonder once they lay me low And, leave this old body there in the cold ground
Chorus
Vs4)
When I bid them farewell will loved ones I leave
Ever check on my grey granite stone
And care to take care of the tall grass and weeds
Growing like bramble there over my bones

Chorus
