Streetcar Lullaby

I wrote this song in February 2020, after coming home from seeing my dad who was getting increasingly sick, and it was clear to me he wasn’t long for this earth. Nothing made sense, and I felt like I had been ground up and spit out. Writing songs can help. There’s a comfort in coming home, and the streetcars are always the first thing I notice when I get back to Toronto - there’s a nostalgia about them and they’re one of my favourite things about the city.
