Snow Owl

Written way back in 2016 on one of the coldest days I can remember, this one’s working title was “Dr. Evil Owl’s Delight” for years before I settled on “Snow Owl.” I liked the funny sci-fi imagery of the working title, but it didn’t quite fit the stark, wintery picture the song always paints for me. This tune had been percolating for five years before we decided to record it. We would rehearse it, then forget about it, and it took a few tries before we figured out the right arrangement to bring it life. This one really features all four of us, with everyone stretching out and reaching for it.
