Biography

The Shed Spiders have unique and distinctive sound. The male and female vocal combination creates depth and warmth whilst catchy chord progressions are combined with distinctive string and piano melodies creating a sound that is altogether unique, interesting and special.
The Shed Spiders take a hands on approach to everything concerning the band. This is reflected by their involvement in everything from music production and mixing; to band photography and music videos. This allows the band to express the songs they have written in a visual way that they feel best compliment the sound and give the viewer/listener a deep, emotional feel to the music.
A Hard working band, The Shed Spiders have played numerous venues big and small throughout the UK. The band like to showcase how their songs can take on a different meaning in a live setting by expressing the songs in a more guitar driven manor, thus giving the listener an altogether different and exciting experience when watching The Shed Spiders live.
The Shed Spiders all grew up together in the Wirral area and have been playing in numerous cover bands since a young age. However, it wasn’t until 2011 when the band came together in its current format and started writing their own original songs; did they realize they have an exciting; altogether unique sound that simply comes naturally to them. From this, Oliver and Carl went about writing 10 original Shed Spider songs which the whole band now look forward too; and are excited about; releasing via a debut album.
