Story bend the song:
This one was of those songs that stays in the notebook for a few years. Then one morning while the band was in Nashville for the 2018 Bluegrass SPBGMA conference, I snuck away to a coffee shop and finally finished the lyric. All the then current band members helped form the music. The lyrics have some nautical and prodigal son references that reflect the need for exploration, rest, success, failure in life to lead a truly full one, and, ultimately, that love brings you back home. Home can be a person, place or higher being, but it is a wish for peace for us all and a call to celebrate this moment. The song begins and ends in a three part harmony a capella that is meant to still the listener. It’s a message of hope and love and closes the album with our wish/blessing to the listener." (-Lauren)
