Story behind the song:
"Shame Game is about shaking your fist at the sky when you feel forsaken. It was inspired by an crazy encounter we had at SXSW. We were just walking down one of the main festival streets in Austin on the way to next show when a bald, pantless woman with tube socks and tennis shoes jumped out of a car near us. She clearly felt like she had not been compensated for whatever the service was and she was the most angry person I’ve ever seen. She was irate and screaming and kicking the car when it screeched off and abandoned her alone in a street full of artsy festival goers. Grown men were inching along the building afraid to look her in the eye as she screamed, spit, and stomped down the road. It was the kind of humiliation that nobody deserves to have an audience for. I tried to imagine her perspective and wrote this song." (-Lauren)
