Golden Rule
In a little old log cabin one cold October morn
Born to a couple was a little baby boy
He looked just like his daddy and grew more like him each day
And every day the Lord would send his baby boy he’d say
Do unto others as you’d have them do to you
Don’t ever mistreat your fellow man
Show a little kindness and help them if you can
For the One created you, also created him
Finally one day he grew up to be a man
He was called off to a battle in a faraway land
His mother stood weeping as she clutched him to her breast
And just a few short moments he re-lived his childhood past
Do unto others as you’d have them do to you
Don’t ever mistreat your fellow man
Show a little kindness and help them if you can
For the One created you, also created him
Do unto others as you’d have them do to you
Don’t ever mistreat your fellow man
Show a little kindness and help them if you can
For the One created you, also created him
