A rollicking blues-rock narrative, telling the twisted comedy of a one-armed worker trying to talk a woman out of her broken-down car while she tries to talk him into working for her and marrying her daughter. I had church moms with their “Oh, have you met my daughter” lines very much in mind.

This song took the longest for me to write–I wrote the beginning and ending in early 2015 during graduate school, and wrote the rest of it in late 2016 sitting on an AC unit at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, while Marines walked by and I waited on a C-130 to take me back to my unit.
