Tussmørke (Twilight) (original composition)

Tussmørke came to existence as an outro for the ending of the first track of the EP "Dagsens Auga Sloknar Ut". After going from something incredibly minimalistic, with only vocals and organ present, I wanted to wrap this traditional Norwegian folk music piece up, by bringing in some elements that felt like a natural continuation of the piece, but also some elements that brought some contrast and could build up the intensity. Really falling in love with this outro as I was composing it, I wanted to give this piece its own place to shine on the EP, hence why Tussmørke become its own track, with its own character and some melodies that are separate from the outro of "Dagsens Auga Sloknar Ut", yet with its similarities, it functions as an echo of past stories told.
