Susan Graham Pepper - Baby Dear

1. Baby Dear: vocals/harmony vox. This lullaby is one I started using as a warm up in my ballad singing workshops with its simple melody that allows plenty of room for vocal ornamentation. It comes from the singing of celebrated American singer Peggy Seeger whose mother, Ruth Crawford Seeger, published it in her seminal collection, American Folk Songs for Children (1948).
