Stop These Teardrops

Blues singer/songwriter, Miss Lavelle White, now in her 90's, still reigns as queen of the Blues in her adopted home of Austin. Originally from Houston, Lavelle wrote and recorded this song for Don Robey's infamous Duke Records label in 1959. It was also covered by another one of Sue's idols, Lou Ann Barton in the 1980's.
