- Sue originally heard this in her teens, on an obscure Blues compilation album called Blues In D
Natural. Although relatively unknown, it had a huge musical impact on a certain group of Blues musicians in the 1980's. Stevie Ray Vaughan did a vicious cover of 'Boot Hill' from this album. Here, Sue reshapes a song originally called "Southern Women” with a nod to Albert Collins. Coincidentally, drummer Chris 'Whipper' Layton is on both. History repeats itself and the Blues rolls on....
