6. La Fille de Quatorze Ans: Michael Doucet taught this song to me several years ago. It’s a traditional Cajun tune, and given the locale and Mike’s incredible vocalizing, and the emotion it projects, it was one of the first tunes I thought of to be on the record when Michael offered to play on it.
