StitchCraft is a powerful duo of two women from South Florida, now based in San Francisco, creating threads of meaning and inspiration through the music that enriches and reinforces the community that surrounds them.
Heather Normandale and Anna Perlmutter create a surprisingly full sound with their mixture of guitar, fiddle, harmonized vocals, and sometimes banjo or mandolin. The results are rich harmonic arrangements, thoughtful lyrics, and undercurrents of intricately woven rhythms to produce delicate yet vivid melodic textures.
They are often accompanied by talented musicians such as Ezra Lipp on drums, balaphone and tabla, who participated in the completion of StitchCraft's soon to be released, newest album "THROUGH THE HOOLABOO!!!," - also graciously joined by the talented Josh Stacy on cello and Andrew McGuire on percussion and vibes.
