Jesse Lynn Madera - Waving

5 Waving 4:54: The enchanting sounds of Jesse's piano, Josh Neumann’s (Brandi Carlile) cello and Stevie Blacke’s (P!nk, Chris Stapleton) violin bring the mood to this tender reminder of our vast and strong connection to people, places, and times. Influenced by Johnny Cash’s version of Gordon Lightfoot’s ‘If You Could Read my Mind’ as well as Ray Lamontagne’s album ‘Till the Sun Turns Black,’ Jesse wrote the song many years ago and was waiting for the right producers to help bring this ballad to life. The percussion was inspired by The Zombie's 'Time of the Season' (with whom Jesse toured in 2022) and Robbie Robertson’s ‘Somewhere Down the Crazy River', coincidentally Robbie passed away during the mixing of the album.
