Biography
Sons of the South is a Traditional Bluegrass Band located in the Western and Central Piedmont of North Carolina. The band has been in existence for over 50 years. Michael Souther inherited Sons of the South from his father and has maintained the same traditional Bluegrass style. Over the years, the band members have changed but the traditional Bluegrass songs, tight harmony and professional instrument work has been a mainstay for the band. The band delivers a hard driving and heartfelt style of bluegrass music, performing traditional as well original material.
