Living Earth
Living Earth

What a sight it must have been before we touched her skin
Gracious as a mother’s hand, she let us jump right in
Taking from her open arms, living off her land
Death’s the only way to live one with her again.

I see loving in the mother’s eyes
Crying cause her child’s lost
Selfish nature human being
Now we pay the cost
If man was made by god above
From dust under the ground
Than earth is much apart of us
As anything around

Taking from the one who never done you wrong (so sad)
Living off the land, bite the giving hand (so bad)

You may want, all you see, look inside what you need
It’s our home…

You may want, all you see, living earth, air we breath
It’s our home….

Gaia what’ve we done to you?
Mother what’ve we done?

Feel it in the sun, heat has just begun (so bad)
Shifting in the sand, growing desert land (so sad)

You may want, all you see, look inside what you need
It’s our home…

You may want, all you see, living earth, sky and trees
It’s our home…

Wrapped in silk of red, wading through gentle twisted water
We cast shadows on Sunkist sand, watching the wind create
The mountains, long ago

Gaia what’ve we done?
Mother what’ve we done?

How we gonna live, when she’s gone?
