Around the Bend

I lost my job and I lost my house
I even lost my friend
but things have a way of turnin’ round
Something good was around the bend!

Tables turned and winds-a-changed
Our hearts, well they did mend
Good was around the corner
My pain, came to an end

Before ya knew we were in a house
(yes ma’am) right out of a dream
A three bedroom barn & a pick up truck
My heart was starting to beam!

Have two little doggies
One black - one tan
and a piggy in a pen
Got me a job three days a week
See things are startin’ to mend!

Little did I know down the road a piece
Round the corner was my best friend (ah ha)
Spending time with her (bout twice a week)
Our fun is never gonna end!

So I lost my LOVE and I lost my JOB
My house & my best friend

Though times got tough I always knew
