Boondock Blues
Well, I got to an age I was trying to decide
Just how I’m gonna live my life
Saw everyone living in hurry up fear
The wealth I want I can’t find here
Find myself not knowing what to do
Go out and find myself some boondock blues
Boondock blues

Gonna move out into the woods
Gotta get out there as far as I could
Found some cheap land and I built up my shack
Now I’m living way out back
I’m suggesting you do what I do
Go out and find yourself some boondock blues
Boondock blues

No cable T.V. no telephone lines
No cell phone reception and that’s just fine
No power connection it’s not my way
I got wood heat and a solar array
I’m suggesting you do what I do
Go out and find yourself some boondock blues
Boondock blues

Now and then I come out, and head into town
Check in with the world and what’s going down
Everything here is much to fast and bright
After all I guess I’m doing it right
I’m suggesting you do what I do
Go out and find yourself some boondock blues
Boondock blues
