There's a theme running through my songs about moving on despite disappointment, getting to the other side, starting over and learning how to love again. A broken heart is especially tough no matter how old you are.

I wrestled with how to record this song. It was Randy's idea to try fretless bass. Johnny laid down some inspired organ and piano tracks and Shooby's sax solo really took it to another level. It's never too late to try again, so "Maybe It's Time".
