12- War and Peace

We Make War, we make peace!
We Fight to the death and make love in between.
We fly high, parachute down to the ground,
Somehow make it safe through the night.
We wake in a place that we don’t recognize,
And the battlefield smoke in our throat makes us choke,
forces the tears to our eyes.

Oh, I can’t take anymore warring with you.
Hardly a part of me left unbroken, now I see a pattern shameful but true.
We make war, love, and piece it together with love, war,

We break up, We breakdown.
We wipe up the blood, pick the glass off the ground,
And we swear never to do this again.
With our solemn apologies made,
We cleaned up the mess and we’ve reset the stage
And I light up some smoke and the mason seals broke, and we set out to kill us again.
