This song has been recorded by several artists including the legendary Luther Allison. Sandy recorded a blues version on her Memphis Rain CD. She decided that the lyrics are basically a love song (written for her husband Jim Gaines) and wanted to re-record with acoustic guitar and piano so that the words could be fully heard.
