I want to thank you Lord
for showing me the light
for always being there
whether I am wrong or right
for opening my eyes
when I couldn't see

for giving me what I need

Other times I don't
Lord I know what I must do
but I'm afraid I won't
Help me to abide
and rest in thee
after all
you know what I need
