“Dixie Waltz” was written as a love song for my fiancé (now my wife) but also as a tribute to the Palmetto state. Charleston on a summer night is one of the most romantic places you can find. Add to that a nice old mandolin, some peach moonshine, and a little slow dancing and you've got the inspiration for this song.
