Heartbeat (single)
HEARTBEAT
by Summer Brooke McMahan and Brayden McMahan

Five years old playground swing
My best friend asked me what I’d want to be
When I grew big and could do anything
I said I want to sing

County fair merry go round
I heard a fiddle ringing through the crowd
Grabbed my daddy‘s hand drug him through the crowd
And said I want to play

Now I can’t let the music go
It’s a part of me
Like a river feeds the sea
It runs through my veins
The music makes my heart beat

Years down the road telephone rings
My dream was calling me
Hugged my daddy‘s Neck said it’s hard to leave
But I have to go

Now I can’t let the music go
It’s a part of me
Like a river feeds the sea
It runs through my veins
The music makes my heart beat

Music makes me cry
Music makes me smile
I can’t dance but music makes me try

It’s a part of me
Like a river feeds the sea
It runs through my veins
The music makes my heart beat
