Thou Shall Not Kill

Should I have spared the grass I walked upon and rather walk on stones?
Should I have spared the mosquito that used me to suck on?

Should we spare our enemies when they battle us in war?
Is there any use in telling us anymore?

Should I have spared the roach for being in my presence?
Should I have vetoed the mass murder of ants in my kitchen?

Should there be a difference between an ant and an enemy
Or are these laws meant to control the masses and for mans integrity
