WHEN IT RAINS
Writer: Richard Aberdeen ASCAP
Publisher: Freedom Tracks Music ASCAP
No doubt, everyone needs some sunshine
And sometimes I try to walk a fine line
Between right and wrong, not sure just where I belong
Sometimes I get lost inside
Trying to find something to ease the pain
And I always feel better when it rains
I always feel better when it rains
As dark clouds come rolling in
And take me to a place I can't explain
When the warm sun shines
I feel okay, sometimes
But I always feel better when it rains
They say it's better to love for a while
Than spend a lifetime in bed with misery
But such advice just seems to bring more trouble for me
Oo, oo oo oo, um um um
[ bridge ]
Reflections of your love remain
A steady sound of falling rain surrounds me
Wash away the fear and the pain
Until at last I'm finally free
I always feel better when it rains
As dark clouds come rolling in
And take me to a place I can't explain
When the warm sun shines
I feel okay, sometimes
But I always feel better when it rains
And though everything remains about the same
There's a rainbow outside my window pane
And I always feel better when it rains
