Well, what can you say. Everyone was trying to write this song in their own way. We were trying to do it without giving too much away, without being too obvious. It’s our attempt to explain the deeply embedded racism in our country and by far the weirdest song to play live, but sometimes the most rewarding. We’re just glad we got our two cents worth into the broader conversation.
