RubyJoyful - The Same Day

“The Same Day” was conceived as a way to express how you could love someone so much you could not bear to live one day without them. Dan came up with the tune while drifting on Big Lagoon just north of Arcata, California and watching the fog lift slowly over the Pacific Ocean. Andy’s banjo, Rob’s dobro and Joice’s accompanying vocals would later bring the song to the finished product it is today. It remains Joice and Dan’s anthem for exploring the world together, hand in hand, until it’s all over.
