The name Rub A duB does not describe the type of music we perform. We chose the name because of what it represents: a joyous gathering of like-minded people. In other words: A hell of a party! We call our style of music SMASH, a collision of styles. this is because our individual influences range from Reggae, Dancehall to Hip-Hop, R&B and Kwaito.
