Everyday’s a Present

I woke up this morning,
Feeling great and jumped out of bed
Got myself going,
Heard the day calling, there’s a song in my head
Everyday’s a present, I must never forget

Made me some breakfast
Head out on the deck and I watch the sun rise
Laughin’ at the kittens
Playing with each other, learning how to survive
Everyday’s a present, I must not compromise

Breeze Blows
Birds know what life’s all about
They can’t tell me
I’ve got to find it out for myself

That’s all there is
Searching for the meaning of life
Pull myself together, fight the stormy weather
