The Rounder Records 40th Anniversary Concert CD is a combi-<br />
Plant, Alison Krauss, Steve Martin and Madeleine Peyroux for their<br />
nation of four different concert events:a Robert Plant and Alison<br />
enthusiasm in participating in this project.<br />

the following night at the Grand Ole Opry was a Herculean task.<br />

Grand Ole Opry House. We would like to thank CMT-MTV for pro-<br />
Hoback, their fantastic crew, and all of the artists accomplished<br />
viding the Plant Krauss performance and Decca International for<br />
an amazing feat. With very little rehearsal time, together they cre-<br />
providing the Madeleine Peyroux performance. Thanks to Robert<br />
ated a magical event celebrating the diversity and quality that isa<br />
hallmark of Rounder’s 40 year legacy. Hats off and a heartfelt<br />
thank you to all the artists, crew, and everyone involved!<br />
Most of these performances were included in a PBS Television<br />
special. That TV special along with additional footage including<br />
songs that did not fit on this audio disc can be viewed on the<br />
Rounder Records 40th Anniversary Concert DVD.<br />
The artists participating in this project are generously donating<br />
their royalties to the GRAMMY in the Schools® programs of<br />
the GRAMMY Foundation®. Rounder is contributing a portion<br />
of its proceeds to the program as well. The Foundation helps<br />
to fund music education in public schools across America and<br />
provides access for young people to information about careers<br />
