Another item out of Big Jim Griffith's collection, this one is from a West Virginia man, Bill Hensley. Bill moved to Tucson in the 70s and ran into Jim at a fiddle contest back in the 70s. As Bill had come from a prodigiously musical family, Jim recorded him extensively from 1981- 84. You can hear Bill himself on The Field Recorders’ Collective FRC734, straight out of Jim’s collection.
