As a musician influenced by the blues from a young age, I realize that I am not a true bluesman in the full sense of the word. I love the music and have experienced life's ups and downs, but not to the point of burying myself in total loss and extreme self-pity. There may have been a time when I was headed in that direction, but not anymore. Of course, some of this could be interpreted as tongue in cheek also, couldn't it? ;o)
