Shattered Faith formed in the summer of 1979 and played a few local shows and party’s. It wasn’t until Spencer’s girlfriend took a tape to Rodney. Knocking on the back door of KROQ Rodney answered, she handled him the tape and he played a song right away. The rest is history.

Without Rodney, Shattered Faith would have continued to be an obscure Punk band from Huntington Beach. Rodney also introduced Robbie Feilds to their music and soon after they were recording songs and their first single came out on Posh Boy.

The band is still playing to this day and have only toured once in 2008. So without Rodney’s help the band would have never been able to expand their existence world wide. We are very grateful and proud to be included on this very special edition of ROTR.
