Carol Ling

Back in seventh grade
I must've thought I was Romeo
When the Ling Family
Moved in in December

Carol was her name
She looked at me and my heart just froze
She was everything
Now, what could I send her?

"Dear Carol Ling,
You're the cutest girl I've ever seen
And I thought flowers only bloomed in Spring
It's Christmas time
Let's go Carolling, oh Carol Ling"

Man, am I a brain!
When Carol reads this note I wrote
She will dance and she'll sing
That I'm the cutest boy ever!

Then I planned my game.
I'd pass the note as she passed in the hall.
Man, she's everything,
And, boy am I clever!
