This song is a true story! I had a Glam Rock Girlfriend, and, like the song says, she would often steal, or ‘borrow’ my make-up, my favorite eye liner, my bronze Lip-Stick AND my favorite earrings. I made some Goth crucifix earrings out of chicken bones, they were really cool, and she would constantly steal them. It truly did ‘drive me crazy’ but, when you love someone, or maybe it’s a little co-dependent kinda thing going on, with crappy boundaries...it’s ‘something I’ve grown used to’ as the song says. So, it’s an honest song, and it’s a modern love-song.
