New Burlington

Madewell started this song when he was living in a small SW Ohio town, Waynesville. At that time, Ceasar's Creek State Park was being constructed and the reservoir was filling. The small village of New Burlington was a "casualty" of the project. Several roads were flooded, prompting Madewewell to "wonder where they go". Some research yielded an interesting fact about the name of the lake.
