Father's Love

It's not what I've done to deserve God's only Son
to suffer, bleed, and die upon a tree
But it was the Father's will for Him to walk the lonely hill
to pay the price so I could be set free

It was love, the Father's love, that brought me back to Him
Without Him, I could never make it in
To redeem fallen man, God had a perfect plan
The Son would die to show the Father's love

Walking through this dying world gets harder every day
We take each step through faith in Christ alone
And we take the Father's plan
We tell our fellow man
the only joy is knowing the Father's love
