Keep On The Sunny Side

A. P. Carter didn't actually write "Keep on the Sunny Side," though in common with so many songs he collected he was sharp enough to claim credit and copyright for it. The original was published in 1899, its inspiration a cousin of lyricist Ada Blenkhorn. The cousin, crippled and confined to a wheel chair, always asked to be pushed to the sunny side of the street.
