Harbor Light

HARBOR LIGHT

Harbor light keep burning
till this sailor’s home.
A simple man returning
to the love he’s known.

I can’t see much past the rigging,
wind and rain and night,
forces so much more than me
hide the harbor light.

You can’t always feed the family
staying close to home.
You can’t always see the light
shining through the storm.

Harbor light keep burning
till this sailor’s home.
A simple man returning
to the love he’s known.

Close-hauled,
Sea squall,
Sun’s all gone…

Harbor light keep burning
till this sailor’s home.
A simple man returning
to the love he’s known.
