Simple Attraction

I'm on a high, I'm high and dry,

And tired of flying solo,

But there's nothing else that I can do,

Because the hours and the minutes seem to move by so slow,

Every time that I'm away from you,

I've seen your face a thousand times on everyone who's near me,

But then again I look around and never see your smile,

I've tasted lips of those I've kissed but no one tastes as sweetly,

But then again I've never known someone so worth the while,



They don't taste like you do,



Here in the dark it's you and me,

So into each other, we can't see,

If this is forever, will this be,

Just simple attraction?



I've lived my life without the thought of ever needing someone,

Not needing anyone to come home to,

But now I find no peace of mind until I'm here and beside you,

Cos there's no one else who's quite like you,

I've told myself a million times I didn't need a lover,

But then I find I'm only trying to deceive myself,

I've told myself a million times I'd never have another,

What can you do with all your inhibitions on the shelf?



No one feels like you do,
