Biography
Pushing Zero's recent success is based upon hardwork, dedication, and a little luck along their way. Formed in May of 2003 on the strengths of George Skala's songwriting abilities and the band's collective musical talent, Pushing Zero continues to rocket through northeast America on their way to national recognition. In April of 2004 the band made its debut to the public with the release of a five song EP, "The Chosen". Response to PZ's music spread rapidly to the covers of industry trades, "Face" and "Goodtimes" magazines and received immediate airplay on radio stations in their home state of Maine. At a local battle of the bands (which PZ won) they met and quickly added the young guitar prodigy Adam Hauk to complete the bands lineup. The demand for Pushing Zero to play festivals, (including the great grass roots Wheeliefest in Pennsylvania) as well as open for national acts (including: Ra, Plain White T's, Badfish, Steve Pearcy of Ratt, Albert Bouchard of Blue Oyster Cult, and Foghat)has captured the attention of industry professionals. Recently, the group has workshopped with Emmy award-winning producer/performer/songwriter, and E-Street Band founder, Bill Chinnock. PZ have just released "Rite of Passage", another five song EP, on June 1st, 2005. The band is enjoying considerable success on GarageBand and Broadjam with their songs receiving numerous awards. At home the band is currently responding to a heavy buzz after winning WCYY's "Big Break" Contest where they played at Portland's State Theatre before a full house. Pushing Zero is working on a tour for Fall of 2006. For more details contact: http://www.pushingzero.com or www.myspace.com/pushingzero.

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
