Originally written for a bar band I met in LA in the late 1980s. They wanted a slow dance tune, I was new in town and very excited about getting it to them. Showed up at the venue ready to play it to them in the parking lot - the lead singer said, "Oh, just send me a tape." I was crushed, kept the song and never talked to them again. I never claimed to be easy to deal with.

I'd also like to mention that when one AR rep heard this one, he said it didn't use "song words". Proud of that!
