EYES OF A CHILD
Writer: Richard Aberdeen ASCAP
Publisher: Freedom Tracks Music ASCAP

In the eyes of a child, every day’s another holiday
Every morning sings a new song as birds come out to play
In a golden rainbow future free from every thing defiled
Hope springs eternal, free and wild, in the eyes of a child

In the eyes of a child lie reflections of a better tomorrow
Laughter and only good times, free from all pain and sorrow
From dark skies in the pouring rain, the light of love shines once again
Today, tomorrow looked down on me and smiled, in the eyes of a child

Love’s angels sang “peace on earth” by the star of Bethlehem
And in the eyes of a child a dying race was born once again

In the eyes of a child, the world turned upright, free at last
Peace and justice for everyone, greed buried in a distant past
In a golden rainbow future free from every thing defiled
Blessed are the meek and the mild, in the eyes of a child
