But it's safe and warm here tonight
Like the wind, hard times come and they go
Uneven rain on the window pane
Before first light may turn to snow

In shades of Monet and Picasso
Freedom's song of redemption
Colored by notes from a pure dimension

There is no black or white, just one human race
All graced by hues somewhere in-between
Like Joseph and his robe of colors
Revealing freedom is so much more than just a dream

Like a clear cool mountain river
Flowing down on through forever

And as I glance into the mirror
Reflections come and they go
