2019 marks 25 years for Nothin’ Fancy, and this CD is the 16th studio recording. Both are remarkable milestones for a group that came together on a whim to enter a competition in 1994.

Along with the fine musicality from the entire group, the collection of songs on this release are all originals which showcase the songwriting and composing talents of Mike, Caleb, and Chris, who each bring their own unique styles to the project. The songs are inspired by travel, life experiences, and stories to which we all most likely can relate. Of course, it wouldn’t be complete if they didn’t sing about trains, too! As you listen, it’s certain you will recognize what has been and continues to be the undeniably unique style of Nothin’ Fancy.

For 10 of these past 25 years, Willie and I have had the pleasure of working with and traveling with Nothin’ Fancy. It has been an experience that has taken us on many exciting journeys, brought so many wonderful people into our lives, and even helped us through some personal trying times. We’re honored to be a part of the Nothin’ Fancy family and are excited about this new recording. We hope you will be too!
